How do I know I can trust Ladybirds?
All Ladybirds staff are DBD checked and insured to give you that extra peace of mind.
Will I have the same cleaner each visit?
We Guarentee that you will have the same home care assistant on each visit. If your regular assistant is on holiday or ill we will call you as soon as practicable to arrange a suitable replacement.
What should I do before a home cleaning service?
Your home will be cleaned by one of our fully-uniformed and experienced memebers of staff. To benefit from our services fully we suggest you make a list of jobs that needs to be done during the time your assistant is in your home. A Cleaning schedule is available to make this a little easier.
Do I have to be home during house cleanings?
Not at all. If you wish to leave your assiatant to carry out their work that is fine. We can also hold a key for home if your are out at work or prefer to be out of the house whilst it is being cleaned.
What time does Ladybirds arrive?
Your assistant can work anytime between 9am and 4pm Monday to Friday, working a minimum of 1.5hrs per visit.
What if something is damaged during a home cleaning?
Ladybirds are fully insured for public liability, employers liability and consequential loss of keys.
Our accidential damage insurance is subject to an excess of £500
We do not provide cover for the first £500 of any loss and recommend you have your own home contents insurance that covers the excess.
All of our staff are experienced fully trained cleaners and will always endeavour to treat your home and possesions with the greatest of care.
Any claim must be made within 24hrs of the event taking place.
Do you provide cleaning materials and equipment?
All staff carry a cleaning kit provided to them with the basic cleaning materials. They will use your own hoover and mop and bucket if provided for hygiene reasons, especailly in homes with pets. The cleaners will also use any products you provide them with apart from bleach which is for Health and Saftey reasons.
What happens if I need to reschedule my Ladybirds service?
If you have an appointment or are going away on holiday we request that we are given at least 24 hours notice so we can reschedule your service. Failure to give notice may result in a 50% non-cancellation fee.
What if my home cleaning falls on a Bank holiday?
Ladybirds do work on Bank Holidays.However we will be closed on the Easter bank holidays and closed for our annual week holiday over the Christmas and New year period .A member of the Ladybirds team will always contact you prior to these dates to rearrange your day of service if yours happends to fall on one of these dates.
